Home We Go

We are going home today, my blogging will be via Leesa. I hate going home to the city I get used to the peace here very easy. But my life awaits me. I have meetings to get to and Sue is feeling kinda lonely. She is a big baby when it comes to being alone. But I do miss her. I am missin my best friend Christina. We get to go to Waco when I get home, so I will get some alone time with no kiddo. When I was incarcerated I got used to being alone. We would have what they call Lockdown, one whole week of not leaving your cell. No work, no chow, no rec, no nothing...I loved going to work, I was the unit Electricain. I did stay to myself alot but it is the fact that you COULDN'T go anywhere that got to me. Sooo needless to say me time is mandatory.

I hope the next month goes by fast. I didn't get to see everything I wanted to this time, I have seen alot from my prior visits but there is always more.

Texas here I come!

Sweet Revenge

It's funny everyone mentions to turn the camera on Leesa, but it's me who used to love pictures. Mostly of myself. When leesa and I were younger two things I remember most were my love for pictures of myself and me always tormenting Leesa about her having to do chores. She picked her moments of revenge. As always she had to take the trash out, and I was making fun of her. Well as I was about done with my laughing Leesa comes running in the house...''Mom threw away a picture of you'' I was mad. She tells me she saved it and it is buried under some rocks, not to blow away. How sweet of her. So I go out to dig it up. I wasted no time I went to digging. There was no picture under those rocks. Instead my hands are covered in fresh, wet, and smelly dog doo. I was the only one who did not think it was funny. And she did'nt get in trouble, no our Mom laughed with her. From that day on I made sure all my pictures were gone or put up were nobody could find them.

Last day

Today is our last day here. I will try to squeeze in every little bit of MT. in I can. We come back but still I hate to leave. Cody wants to ride the ATV, go hiking, hot tubbing, all those fun things. A little bit of yard work left and we will be done. I am off to the post office now, on the ATV.

Well I finished the yard and plan on relaxing the rest of the day. Cody is already planning things to do next time, little does he know we will be busy. He has never been camping before so this will be interesting.

No more work

I try to hide and she still finds me. My sister has told me how much work she has to do on a daily basis, but until now I just thought she was kidding. OMG I have tilled, weed wacked, fed horses who can't seem to leave their feeding bowl by the fence, no they have to drag it all the way in the middle of the slop and mud which I have to trample through, bring in bird feeders, make sure there is nothing out for the bear to get...I am done. We have one more day here and then back to Texas. Where laundry and cleaning house are my biggest chores. But really I can't wait to come back in July, all the gardening will be done by then.

I don't know how she does it.

Vern

I know I am cute...but what are you?

For those of you that think its hot, try being this close to the sun. My sis tried to tell me it was hot here at 70 degrees. I will have to agree. It feels like 90. I have been outside all morning and I am beat, I will be in the hot tub tonight.

Cody and I chose to ride the 4wheeler to Clark fork following Leesa. Rocks in my eyes, bugs in my teeth, and dirt in my ears. That was too long of a ride. Of course Cody didn't mind.

We got alot done in the garden. I can't wait to see it when I come back in July. Cody has to plant his sunflowers still.

Cheap Labor

Today Leesa has decided to plant the garden, and perfect timing she has free labor. Yeah Cody and I are the hired hands. The other day I did the 20 acre yard as if that wasn't enough. So when those vegetables come I will take pride. I had plenty of ''gardening'' experience in TDCJ on the Hoe Squad, the aggie is no stranger to me. One bouns I love getting dirty.

My Damn Sister

She won't put that damn camera down.

Vacation

We have been to Montana several times since my sis moved here. This trip was actually the first time with no snow. So much more to do. Cody loves the 4wheeler...so I have to ride it for him. He knows how to drive it now so he wont need me...that is if he can get me off it.

New girl

This is my first entry, so here I am. My sis has been doing this for years and I have just enjoyed it. See I haven't always been in this free world as they call it... I just served a 2 1/2 sentence in TDCJ. My sis sent me copies of her blog along with another friend of ours to read. I could actually escape the world I was in. Not easy there. The pictures, the comments, and the day to day. I looked forward to mail call. Now I am in this free world, with my son, Cody, back in my life and finally have a clue. I was a bit of a trouble maker, more like a death wish. Which I don't get cause I always had what I needed and wanted. But had to do more. I am so happy with my life now. Cody is an awesome kid. Straight 'A' student, a musician (guitar), avid reader, and real good at being 7yrs old. My partner and I are both in recovery, in the NA organization. She has almost 4 yrs clean. My days consist of school, shopping, scouts, and being me...can't complain.
