I thought I would say a few words to touch base. I have been super busy the last few days. Our first soccer game is this Saturday. I think the kiddos are ready. Alot of talent on this team. Our Blue and Gold Banquet is this Friday. This is the biggest scouting event of the year. Cody is getting his Wolf Badge, which puts him up to the Bear Den. And along with that I have had alot of pictures to put on CD's for the parents. Which I was having major troubles with. I had to call Marianna in to help. She saved my life. My scout parents will be so happy.
So I will post pics of the boy this weekend.
Oh and a bit of good news...court is set for March 11- so happy.

What A Great Day

I had a great morning...got to spend the morn with my honey. Then we got to go shop for my V-day gift. M came with us to make fools of ourselves in the store. We are good at that...Enjoy your weekend

Happy Valentines Day

I was thinking of Valentines Day and how IMPORTANT it is to get gifts and cards. I just ran to the store to get the things for Cody's class party and to pick up something for my sweetie. So easy when you have the freedom to shop. Two years ago I was in TDC putting together a Valentine for my friend in there. Ok what we can come up with. Things we used. Like one thing...I took a small shampoo bottle took the label off, which wasn't paper cause it was considered dangerous to us. I used bippy. I cut out some little hearts I drew and taped them on the bottle. Now we couldn't have tape, but I had some. Yes I was holding contraband...then I took soap and melted it in my hotpot and added water. Instant bubbles. Ok so the stick you blow from. I took a q-tip took off the cotton, then bent it to make a loop. Now the tricky part..tie the two parts together. OMG so hard. My friend loved them. Oh and then I made a box of choclates. Ok so I made a box out of the backs of writing tablets, which I cut with a razor blade. And I bought some candy bars and cut them up. Clever huh. Of course we had to get rid of all this stuff cause if they caught us with it we could get a case.
It's funny how lucky the outside world is. I certainly don't take things for granted now.
Oh and I have a new reader...she was with me in TDC. I know she can relate to these pages.

Me Feel Better

I have been sick the last three days. My throat was all swollen and white spots were everywhere. I couldn't even swallow. But I got antibotics and all is better.
Cody had a good day today, he went on a field trip to The Mayborn Museum in Waco. It is a cool place to go. The kids get to actually touch all the stuff and participate in weather experiments. He loved it.
We went fishing this past weekend. Sort of a gettin out for Cody, he was sick last week. So he needed to get out of the house.
Not much else...just being.

It's Friday...

Mutter...

I got a call from my attorney Monday and I needed to go in to sign some papers. I read them over and put my Jane Hancock. Let me tell you I liked what I read. All I want is to keep my child and get the hell out of here. Not only does my sis need me there but I want to be closer to her. Yeah I am gonna get mushy. My sis and I didn't get along so well growing up. I was a BIG pain in the ass. But since the last few years we both realized we are all we have left. That and I grew up. I am still strange but older. I also realized that my sis isn't stupid. I used to try to pull shit over on her and think I was getting away with it. Haha on me. I miss her damnit. Plus if it wasn't for her and my bro-in-law, hell I would not be here now. So soon we will be starting our lives in Montana. I can't wait.
Cody will fly to his dad's every other summer and Christmas, which will give him some time to get used to being without mommy. And at the same time give him dad time. His dad isn't young so they need time together. I am ready.
Not much else to tell. Soccer keeps us busy. Oh get this I have kids on my team taller than me. Not a shocker I know, but man. Our scout Blue and Gold Banquet is coming up, Cody will be getting his Wolf badge. Bid deal in scouting. Rank! Sue is working hard as always. She takes care of us. I finally got a day to just do house work. It was long over due. Hope all are good, have a great day.

Kiddie Feet

Weekend is here...soccer starts tomorrow. It's just practice but the season begins. If anyone is looking for a cute movie to go see, Alvin and the Chipmunks. So cute...have a good weekend!
