Can You Spell H.A.R.D

Ok I had to show yall this...

The first week of school no homework, then the second week spelling words. Now they were easy words, just refreshing their memory. But this week was down to buisness. These are Cody's spelling words for this week. Guys I can't even spell some of these. And he has to put these words in a sentence.
I guess 2nd grade is different these days.

They'll be little geniuses by the time they hit 8th grade. He'll have a college degree by then!

Wow Those are tough! Especially for the second grade!

I always hated trying to use the words in a sentence...

Just like they don't teach cursive any more (because of the computers), eventually they will stop teaching spelling because of computers (and spell check). Of course, they better start teaching proofreading because computers are only as smart as the people operating them! Tell him that spelling is hot.

Set the expectation high, you'll get higher returns. Set to the lowest common denominator, you get the lowest of the low.

Good luck with them. I was never a great speller, okay... my spelling sucked big time.

I might just make a blog entry with all those words in a story or blog entry. Oh, this could be fun. I am SO a geek.
