Retire The Flag
Cody's scout troop had a Flag Ceremony this morning. Very nice! I had never known what to do with a flag when it gets all faded and torn. So I learned something new today.

Wow, you know what? I have never seen this ceremony. It's the ultimate in honor & respect... and it gave me chills seeing the photos.

When 9/11 happened and everyone went ape $hit over the American flag, no one knew the proper etiquette involved in raising, lowering, displaying or even discarding. It's neat that they are teaching the younger generation the protocol.
