I hate calling my bro-in-law with bad news..mostly when it is something I did. yesterday I had another car accident. head on with another car...damnit.
I swear its always something..But when I call the first thing he says is are you ok, as if I cared if I was hurt..all I care about is the car.
I know things happen and thats what we have insurance for, so I will just relax and let it go. I have to because there is nothing else I can do...
It's Friday and I am going to work then home to sit my lazy ass on the couch for the night, hopefully, kids will be running around but I can always throw them outside.
Oh one of my friends from Texas might be coming to visit, how cool is this. She is so awesome and we have alot of fun together...hope she makes it..

I am such a sour puss...need to get out of the feelin sad for myself and back to my "hey life is too short" phase. I get that way once in a blue moon, we are all entitled.
Things are actually good right now, just one of those times when I miss friends and chillin like I used to. But we must all keep good company and well that is what I lost site of..stick with family and good people and all will be great...

Why can't I see the good in things...I mean I know that all things work out and that there is light at the end of every tunnel, but sometimes I lay in bed just wondering.
I had a good weekend. Got things done and had family time, which is always great. but now as the week approaches I get well stressed...and lonely.
Thank god I got sis, she always puts it into perspective.
My kiddo is a joy to, he is there being a butt to lighten the mood...
Mmmm guess its life hittin hard huh?
So as I wrap up the month and start new I say...I can, I will, and don't worry.

I just got no sleep last night. Between cats and this major pain I have in my arm, I might as well just pulled an all niter...I almost called into work, but I am sucking it up and heading out..

Another day at work, I really like my job, and the people there are just awesome. We have all kinds of fun, oh along with work do. But got to make it fun right.
Cody is in this afterschool program at school and they are teaching them "Ballroom" dancing. I think that is so cool, and as far as I know so does he.
We will see how well he learns, he plans on showing momma tonight what he learned..no I will not be posting videos..you would just love that..

I of course have to get this child of mine to understand that he has to read his book in order to do his book report...I will resort to beating it into his skull if he can't get it...

but instead going to work then off to play with the trees to keep my house warm...

I did the funniest almost goofiest thing today, but well we all used to do this thing where we took pictures of our feet for "Friday put your feet up"...well I kinda did a little friday feet thing today...I took Fruit by the foot to work, which is like fruit roll ups, but in one long strand...myself and another soul there ate the all at once.....It's Friday have a fruit by the foot...

So I have been in Montana since August..Since then I have started working at an animal hospital, yeah had to go into the family business..I have moved into my own place, me Cody and mom. It isn't far from sis, just about 10 miles up the road, so you know I am always going to her house...she can't get rid of me..
Cody is enjoying life here alot..he is doing great in school, as I was scared at first that his city life would keep him from enjoying all that this place as to offer..he does do his fair share of wrongs. We just make him to manual labor and it seems to work.
We had a great holiday, Cody went to Texas to see his dad, flew all by him little self. Did great!
Ok so I am going to try to write daily, even if it is one line or so..just what I am thinking or what is on my mind. Who knows if I will keep it up...but with the way things are going I need to vent, get some things out there...maybe yall can help!
I got issues...ok I am leaving that wide open, yall go ahead...

Where do I even start.

Well we are in Montana finally...we did the uhaul move last week and tht was just fun. Me, Kiddo, Mom, 2 cats and dog...and only I drove. 3days later we arrived in one peace. I can't say I have ever experinced anything like that before...it was fun really.

Cody went camping right away for a whole week...he had a blast, no mom...yeah he was ok. I just got things unpacked and as normal as possible. Cody is reg. for school and ready to go.

Things back home were just , well not sure. I mean My girlfriend and I had slpit up awhile ago and I was doing the working mom thing..which I loved. I had a great job and was doing it...but had the chance to go so had to take it.

I will say I miss home, alot...I just started tlking to a girl there,, who I am still talking to, which you never know what will happen...

I really miss Texas..as u know I make friends easy and well I have some close friends and plus some and well I am really missing them right now..I mean this girl I am starting to "talk" to and do the long distant thing with..her bday is Thursday and it suxks not being there,,but I will see her in October, we had some fun planned which my awesome sis is making sure I get there for it. But still I miss really bad.

I know things are going to get better here..I don't hang alone long, but when u leave a life that you hve only known for yrs and yrs well it sucks...

Now I can't believe that I am finally here, doing what was meant to be..a family.

Time for bdays and Christmas and just all the things that are from a magazine...for real it is like that here and whn you want to just go outside and walk the pond you can...I mean come on right.

So I am sure tht alot of people are dissin the choice I made, but you know what I don't give a $#%^...

I am making better life for my kiddo...

Just hope that the things I left behind remember that.. and some follow me. I can say that we have all settled in well...even the cats, true Montana kitties. Cody just does his normal, as if he were here for a visit, but this time no flight home...well to visit..i can't wait.

Well alot as happened since I last posted. I went to work after kiddo left to keep myself occupied, which was going to be just a little job. Went back to Subway where I worked when kiddo was little, I knew the place and just liked it, well 2 months later they gave me a managers position. Yeah me!
Now the store I am at is inside a Shell gas station so we are not as busy as a regular store but we have our fair share of customers...and my fair share of learning paperwork. Just another thing in my world.
I am kinda excited with the whole paycheck thing and I opened a savings account, so this will all be a good thing.
Kiddo is doing good, he loves his school and really loves that the soccer league up there plays 8 kids on a side, here we played only 5. I had him here for Spring Break, then he comes for the summer. With his dad's job he might be here earlier but we wont know that til it happens...
So all is good, going to Six Flags Sunday for one last Hurrah!!

Cody is here for spring break...we have been busy. So far the kiddo has been skating, rock climbing and today we went to Topsey...its an outside zoo where the animals come right to you. I got bit by a donkey right on the chest...in my area, ouch. He was hungry I guess,,,no milk there bud.
Cody goes back to KS Sunday but we will hit SixFlags Friday and Saturday on the way back ...
I miss having him around, but he is doing real good up there. His grades are awesome and he has his own little idiocincresses, (sp) ....

About Time

Well I went back to work...Subway. I was there once before when kiddo was younger, but I got to involved in work that I had to quit. Taking too much time away from him.
But now I have time so there I am. I am excited, I love working and plus I can start saving for future events with kiddo.
I did come home from MT. early, we had a death in the family and I needed to be here for my mom. Always hard to deal with, she is doing ok now, she was very close to her sister...
Kiddo is doing great, he is just busy as he can be...he loves talking on the phone with me at night, mostly so he doesn't have to go to bed.
I got a school pic of him yesterday, OMG he is getting some long hair...I will put it up next time I don't know how to work this new pc yet.
My PC went down so we are using a friends right now...we need to do some things to it.
All is the same otherwise, same old me...

Well Cody left this morning...
It was a sad event, he tried not to cry but his little face was all quivery and his eyes were so red. I buckled him in his seat and kissed him up until he closed the door. He wanted so bad to tell his dad that he just didn't want to go and that he was very angry...but he held it in and hung tough.
I am not doing as good as he did...I couldn't hold it in..but Mommy was here to hold me. LOL
I know that he will be fine, I know that dad will take care of him. But I know that he doesn't want to be there and that is what is hard for me to handle.
See when I got Cody he had no life, by that I mean he never got to experience life like a kid should, so he got a life here...and to him this is what he knows. So he is scared.
Another thing that is eating at me, is how I am alone dealing with this. Not that I have family and friends to talk to, cause I do. But my heart is empty...
Maybe this is my time to start my life the right way...don't get me wrong I have a good life but maybe I need to make some changes.
Guess I will work on that...

Update...he just called. He is trying so hard to deal with this...its only the first day.

Well it's Christmas...we have opened all the gifts, everyone got what they asked for. Cody got a shit load of stuff

Right after he opened everything I packed it away to go to dad's...sucks.

I got so much going on in my head I need to get out...I feel like I should be careful. Not for fear of outsiders but personal issues.
It is 6wks till Cody leaves and I can't keep my mind busy enough. I am non stop 24/7.I keep Cody busy to, if he sits idile for too long he gets all sad and starts asking if I can try to go to court again so he can stay.
He still doesn't understand..
He does accept that he has to go and he says he will make the best of it, I think he will.
I think after time passes he will see that I am still here and that he hasn't lost me. As to the last time he thought I was gone for good..
yeah he may be smart but he is still 9 and still scared/confused.
I don't know how to feel right now. S says I should keep Cody from seeing me hurt, which is hard. I haven't even realized the wrath of this.
Right now I want to cry, but I don't do that right..lol
So I could just keep busy and then we don't have to think about it right?

It will be a great Christmas but also a sad one...he leaves December 27th...

Well with having kitties comes the stuff you never expected...our littlest one Mimzy, was just a shelter kitty. So we expected the worms and maybe the ear yuck. But we never expected the "Butt Tuck"...what you ask?
Oh Mimzy is a special kitty who requires plastic surgery...not the kind that Dr. 90210 does but a bit more south. Mimzy got a Butt Tuck...her little bottom was protruding...yeah pretty sight.
As always I call the sis to tell me what to do. So she sends me to bro-in-law. I take her to the plastic surgeon.
Yeah high rollin kitty.
She got to come home the same day, sporting this lovely collar. It lasted a whole minute....
Then Sue decides she wants to make a diaper for her. Using people panties no less. Cutting a hole for the tail and everything. No it didn't last long either.

I have been playing Pet Society on Facebook so much I so have not been keeping up with blog world...I will catch up today.
We have been getting alot of rain, and I am over that now...no soccer tonight. Cody has come to the time where he doesn't want me around when he is with his friends...he has decided he wants to go skating Friday nights alone with his buds...So I drop him off at 7 and then 11pm I will pick him up. Our local skating rink is 3 streets down, I am not to worried. He could walk home if he wanted to. But they don't allow that. Anyway....
Sue is working as always...Mom is good. I am doing my thing, scouts.. soccer. I am now also a Webelos Asst. Den leader on top of Asst. to Cody's den...
We are going camping Nov 8...just for one night.
Cody is doing soooo good in school. He had 4 100 grades on his progrees report. Out of 7 grades total. The rest were A's.Even the principal commented on how bright he is.. He is sad he has to go soon but he knows he will be back here soon.
He leaves December 27th...and will return to me before 5th grade...he is in 3rd now...
I told him we would have a big B-day party for him so he could say good-bye to his friends...
All in all things are going smoothly...wish the rain would stop...guess we needed it

I bet alot of you are wondering what the hell is going on with trial...well we are not going. I know WHAT...Things caught me by surprise and it wasn't going to be pretty. My sides were falling down...make sense?
Even the witnesses on my behalf were scared....I am talking the expert witness. Want to know what was against me? Yep the GAY mother thing....and the fact that I was in "TIME OUT" for 2yrs. Yeah it was all going against me.
Plus the other side had this pity song going on that he gave me time, um let em explain that...he says that he brought Cody to me in good faith since I hadn't had him for so long, but he wanted him back at a later time. Yeah as if that happened. Anyway, the judge was eating that up.
So all the odds against me and the pity song, shit I was scared.
Rule 11 Agreement: Cody is with me only till January 15 where I withdraw him from school and drive him up to Kansas...
Cody does the 2nd half of 3rd grade then 4th grade with dad
Then he is back with me for 5th grade and then prior to 6th grade starting Cody gets to choose where he lives.
Yeah I feel Jr.high is to important to be moved around year to year.
I can't stand the fact that he is spliting this year...I had no choice.
I almost lost Christmas this year but I fought for that being that he leaves a month later...
And if you think about it, I have Cody prior to him choosing, and that helps if you catch my dift...
Is Cody happy....hell no. He doesn't want to go at all and I don't want him to go, but I can't win them all I guess.
Why can't they see where the child is happy and leave them there. Well we have to obey the law and keep our heads held high...
I wish I could comfort my child while he is there..I can't. I can call him daily and see him as much as I can...
I have 3 months to prepare him, if you know Cody you will know that wont be easy.
So, my life will contiue till then and after that day I let him go...I will be on my way. I can't stay here where every time see his friends I cry. Or if I go to the store and see his teachers...Plus I have to get Montana ready for him when he comes home to Mommy

Last week was fun...we started out with Tuesday where Sue and I had to appear for depositions with the other party. I was never told what time to be there, but Sue was suopenaed to be there @10:30 so we planned on that. Well they called looking for me at 9:30 so that started it out great.
I was questioned for an hour about all kinds of things...
My criminal history, my drug use, and where Sue and I sleep. They made a big issue about that. What does Cody call Sue, and such.
Sue came in next... hers didn't last as long. She put his lawyer in his place, it was funny...He was done in 10 mins.
So off we went. Trial will be intersting
So then we had appointments all day Thursday, Cody was ok with that but he would have rather been in school.
Sue came home with a toothache Thursday, it was ugly.
And today I get kids here doing "Space Age Crystal Incubation"...
I love it.
Tomorrow we are going to Inner Space Caverns, its what it sounds like...all under ground. It will be neat. Good photo ops...
Only 3 more weeks till trial, eh I can think of better things to do till then rather than thinking about it...Enjoy the weekend

And he is gone...3rd grade. Cody wanted no part in taking pictures but of course I had to. :) He got up this morning and got himself dressed and was out to the bus 30mins before the time to go out. He says he wasn't excited but hello I know better.
I have a day of nothing planned, maybe some house cleaning. And a nap...hehe.

Well it's the Friday before school...the last chance to be wild and crazy. Cody gets to stay up late tonight and watch movies. He says he is staying outside with his friends till dark dark. We will see, they will come in by 9 watch.

I am preparing for trial, we go Sept.22nd. I have a lot of documents to find and dig up. Easy stuff, lol. I am hoping this will take a turn and just work out for all of us. I know we are ready for this to be over.

My Child The Terrorist

So coming home is always a fun experience.
A bag gets lost or we miss a flight. The flying was a breeze this time...no issues. But, before we can even get on the plane we have to go thru security. I am really good at making sure we have no liquids or that all my kiddos pocket knives are in the checked bags...well not the case this time.

We are at security and we are all thru with the exception of one of the kiddos bags. All of a sudden, I'm asked to step aside and wait. I notice something small in the lady's hand as she calls for a supervisor.
Ok, so I am thinking it is some nail clippers or some tweezers. Oh HELL no ...it's a bullet- a BULLET from a gun. A tiny 25 auto bullet fully in tact.
My sis found it camping and she gave it to the kid. It some how wound up in his carry-on bag.

So here comes the big guy with his clipboard. Ask for my ID and off he goes...I call sis to tell her to pull over in case someone has to claim my kid...I wasn't going anywhere. .He comes back and starts asking how we got it. I explained and apologized like 99 times. Hoping I would be understood and let go.
I was, but my picture is up on the bad people board and flagged for any further mis-haps..and not just a black and white photo...full living color with DL and everything.
I am going to send everything home by mail from now on...

Camping was an adventure. The first night was the weirdest, I have never slept outside like that. Cody wasn't scared at all, but the last night he was. The men came up with a great story to scare all the kids..it worked. I did some fishing, which I have found a new love for. And I shot a gun....WOW
Cody was soo dirty, gross. But he loved it. We head home Friday...so I will catch up with yall then.

What to do? Cody has just made a lot of friends this trip. He knows more people than I do. He went off camping with all the kids from here. We went to Kootenai Falls today. Beautiful place to hike and relax. There is a swinging bridge to cross and such...the water is still too cold to swim in, but we waded a bit.

My awesome sis made it possible for us to come see her, which we weren't sure we were going to be able to do. I am so thankful.

The best part of going hangin with my sis, we talk so much on the phone its nice to see her and talk. Who am I kidding the best part is all the playing. Hehe...

My Mind Right Now

I woke up this morning with a lot on my mind.

How all this could turn out, and if I will make the right decision, not really the fact that I could have ended all this yesterday by agreeing with the other side and giving in to his request.
I guess let me recap yesterday for you.

The other side gave an offer to let him have primary custody and I have Cody all summer and every other school holiday, like Christmas and such.
Well that is what I would get if I lost in court, the standard visitation, so why give in, huh? Fight! I feel if I am going to lose at least lose and not give in. They will have to take him from me, I wont hand him over.
But I wonder if Cody will understand that I did all I could. And on that note, will he realize that the other side didn't take his own feelings into consideration. Cody has begged his dad not to take him away from me. But, he didn't listen. And some may say that he is only 8 he will understand one day, hell I know he understands now. He is smart.

At one point I was told that I didn't have a good chance due to who was on my side, and that I lead a lifestyle that isn't 'normal' and open to eyes in this town. OMG please, we raise him wonderful, we do a good job is what I am trying to say. Just because we are two women, he still has two parents here and we share the responsiblity. Something the other side can't do.
Now the big thing I can't stop thinking about is if Cody has to be returned to the other side will he feel like I don't care or should I be closer to him.
Yeah I was offered to go with Cody and help parent him with the other side. I would have had to move in with the ex. Forget the fact that I have a life here or a partner. And forget the fact that I have plans to move to MT. It's almost as if the other side plans on using that against me. In the future. "oh your mom didn't want to be close to you" or "she left you" Yeah my mind is going ninety to nothing.

I was told once that I should look at his side and I do. I know he wants Cody and I know he will take care of him. But I also know he can't to the things I do. He wont be in and out with Cody's friends and letting Cody ride his bike all day. He just wont let Cody be himself. Right now Cody is just realizing he can express himself and it's ok.

I have a month th prepare myself for this, I can't help but prepare for defeat. I have to, or if the time comes I wont be ready.

We are going to trial!! He gave me some offers that just blew me away. And never once did he consider what Cody would want. So we keep fighting.
I have to prepare myself for possibly losing Cody...I guess I just don't fit the profile of a good stable mom or that I can provide a good future for him.
I am kinda done with this for a bit. I need to relax and keep my mind on something else for awhile. I will explode if I don't.

First Attempt

We have our first mediation tomorrow afternoon. I am not to hopeful but you never know. I am pulling out the big deals and the only thing I have to offer "my son is happy why change that".
We are set for trial in Aug. so tomorrow might prevent that. I hope.
Cody got his first pet yesterday...a gerbel, her name is Leah. All Cody wants to do is play with her, but she is a bit scared. She is only a baby. Cutest thing. I will get a pic soon.

Summer Brings Out The Crazy In Us

We actually have a quiet day here at home. Mom and I got up cleaned the house then just sat and played on the puter. Cody is enjoying his toys and totally out of my hair. Just staying to himself being constructive. He did play with his hair a bit, trying new styles and being a boy. We are not worrying about courts or doctors of any of that.
We will be going to mediation the 15th, which in a way I am glad cause maybe we can get all this over with then. Now I am pretty sure we won't come to an agreement which then we will go to trial. Aug 4th.
But today we will just enjoy life...and play with our hair...:)

News Update

Well we are continued in court...we are set for trial sometime in July maybe August. So of course I have to stay here until then. But trust me we are going to MT. for vacation. I want to go jumping off cliffs and camping and there is no where better than MT.
It turns out that the kiddo tried to talk about his feelings to his dad and it wasn't that great. But at least he did. I hope it does some good.
So we are off to do some errands and then a quiet night at home...yeah right! All the kids will be here at my house in and out...I love it

It's A Monday

Well I can't seem to feel any comfort in all this. I have been discourged from the time they showed me the report about the kiddo being returned to his father. It is now going to trial. And with that we need witnesses and subpoenas...which of course are not easy to come by. The schools are closed which means we have to go through the district and they are not easy to get ahold of. And really people don't want to get involved when they have their own things to deal with. Can anything else happen today?
The kiddo is being a pill, of course it's summer. He can't understand why he might have to go to live with his father if he doesn't want to. I try to explain it the best I can without him getting all confused and panicy...
On the upside...Sue works days now, oh I love that. She is home at night and next to me,hehe...She will be on days as long as they don't mess up at night. So I am keeping my fingers crossed.
I am due in court Thursday but there is a chance of delay due to a mediation. Which might be a good thing. I will let ya know.

So I posted a good bye to the public..and then went private. Ok so will they see it? Uh No...I am so blonde some time. Oh wait I am! So anywho...I am here.
Well things are so not going right around here. We have a snag in the whole custody thing. I am at risk in not getting to keep the boy or move when I want. We are having to go to mediation and ask for a continueance due to a report from one person in this case. Which is in favor of the boy being returned to the other side.
I am at a lose right now. Can't seem to motivate or keep my emotions in. I sit a cry for an hour or so, I know pitaful uh?
I am just keeping what my sis said in mind...we will keep fighting.
This is harder than when I lost him 4yrs ago...this time I am losing and I am the good side. If that makes sense...
I will have an update next week.

Dollar Stores

So my sis has a interesting view on Dollar stores.
We have Dollar General...where most things are "generally" a dollar. Then there is Family Dollar...where your families dollar will stretch far.
Then my personal favorite Dollar Tree...where everything is $1.00. So we all know the difference.

Oh no, my sis says they all are falsely advertising. She went into a Dollar General one day and sees that things were $5 and $10, and so forth. One day we were near a Dollar Tree and I had to go in. I had to explain the whole "everything in here IS a dollar", and that the other stores are more than a dollar.

Well her theory is they should call themselves "Family Dollar Maybe" or "Dollar-ish General" oh and my fave "Dollar General Sometimes"...
It might just be me...but it is so funny when she and I talk about this, she says they are wrong for using the word Dollar. So if that's the case, that means that ALL stores should have the word Dollar in them since we spend "dollars" in all stores.

Hump Day....

Well the boy might come home today. When I talked to him Monday he said he was going to see me Wednesday morning...so we will see. I am ready to see him that is for sure.
So this weekend Sue and I are going to Pride in Austin. I love Austin! Last year I went but Sue couldn't go and that sucked. Cody will spend he day with friends...I am excited.
I have been feeling numbness in my finges. Mostly my pointer finger on my left hand. I was kina concrened until I looked it up and it could be caused my pressure on a nerve. Maybe from my neck. I will be asking Sue to massage my neck later today and see if it goes away...hey I get a massage out if the deal.
All in all the summer is going well, we have some fun activites planned and of course lots of sleep-overs. Only 15 days till court...this to shall pass!

Fat Camp

While Cody's away I eat....and eat. Today alone I started at 3am. I have eaten a bowl of cereal, turkey sub with cheese and ranch, beef ramen, bean and cheese burrito, 2 oatmeal raisin cookies, 4 mint milano cookies, and a toaster strudel.
Oh and I am not done..I am wanting ramen and zapps.
I was feeling guilty about all my food intake so I did some sit-ups. But I didn't want to get off the couch, so I did them right there. Cushion under my butt. A whole 5 sit-ups. My sis is laughing hard right now.
See this is what I do when Cody is away. I need to find a hobby huh?

Call It What You Want

Cody is leaving this morning with his dad. Six days he will be gone. They start their trip out in Houston sleeping at NASA. An overnight stay with the cub scouts. Then they will stay in Galveston for a few days, where Cody will surf and go shark fishing. They will then head back this way to Austin to try to see the bats...After that home on the 12th. Now it's only a short week he will be gone but I am going to be lost. My days consist of Cody and all his freinds. They all come over here to play. Don't get me wrong I like the peace, but I just know I will be bored.
Ok it's offcial he just left. Dad just packed him up and drove off...:(
I can do this. I know he is coming back.
I do have some things planned for Sue and I. We are going to Luckenbach, Tx on a motorcycle. A 2 hour ride. Sue is excited so that's all that matters. I am also going to Dallas Monday. So the time will pass quickly, I hope.

Must Speak Up

I only hope this is all worth it in the end.

We had our appointment today with the court therapist, and it wasn't all that fun for the kiddo. He froze up and was kinda angry when we left. He told me he wanted to only see his regular counselor.
Now kiddo has been doing a lot better with all this and it does have a lot to do with his meds. I will stand by that. He was diagonsed with ADHD. He does well.

He has alot of anxiety issues so this causes him to do certain things. Just nervous habits...but nothing so serious.
More and more he is coping. But, as we see more doctors they want him on more meds. I only want what is needed, not a long term effect diagnosis.

I know my kiddo and he might be hyper and have fears, but come on. I am not sure if I should disclose the certain diagnosis he was given today so I wont. But well, I know its not the case.

And now lets talk about the "atty general" I can't understand how I follow all rules, and I am so patient, they still screw with me.
I thought they were on my side. Oh no, they want to hold my payments for 2 months.
Can they put food on the table?
Can they get books at the book fair?
Can they get the kiddo shoes? Uh no!

We take care of the kiddo no matter what...I will make sure of that. No matter how I have to, family is always behind me.
So I will keep doing what I am told to do and keep my nose clean.

I have been in one of those slumps, a time where I can't get the umph to post. I think the last week was one of the most stressful one yet.
With all the legal stuff going on with us and all the fine tuning going on I tend to stress. I don't want to go into big detail but lets just say I am getting the run around with the Attorney General. And leave it at that. I know in the end it will all be ok and work out for the best, but man I am just done with all this.
We are doing all the preperations we are asked to do before our next court date and it seems to be looking good. Cody has been doing just awesome with all this, such a trooper. He might not understand alot but he hangs in there.
Sue is about ready to divorce me, kidding of course. I stress her alot. She is great with all this, behind me 100%. I love her so much.
As school comes to an end, we also get ready to wrap up scouts for the year. Summer is a down time for the boys. Cody has just taken his scouting to the extreme. We are so proud of him.
Ok so I don't want to bore you with all this...I do however have a funny fact. I was talking to my sis tonight and we were just gabbing about this and that...our normal daily chats, when the subject of food came up. See I stock up on food whenever I can..you never know when something will happen. See in prison we got to go to the store( commisary). They had alot of things to choose from, food hygeines, as such. One thing we all did was stock up on was hygeines...toothpaste, soap, deoderant. Cause they were known to run out. And TDC does not provide these things for you. 80 someodd women in a dorm, with no deoderant...um gross. I have run out before and we make do..but when I could I would get plenty. So even almost 2yrs later when I go to the store I remember then and do the same thing.
I was at my unit a few weekends ago visiting my friend and we were talking about this store thing. They only get to go once in a minute so she is still in that frame of mind...funny I just looked and I have a 12pk of soap in my bathroom now, and 3 deoderants. MMm I will never change some things huh.
I have told you this before but I still eat Ramen noodles...just love em..
Oh wow another story...I was one who liked to take alot of classes in prison, to keep me busy. I would come home from work and shower to go to a class. A friend of mine didn't have $ to go to the store so I did what we called "traffic & trading". I left for my class, but I packed soap and coffee in my bra...hoping I wouldn't get padded down on the street. To give to her, she was in my class to. I had to she was a good friend and needed my help, in fact you have all seen her on my blog, she went to Six Flags with us "Wendy". See we can do anything in prison...just can't get caught. Heard the ol' saying "had to go to jail to become a criminal" true at times.
Well I got some things of my chest and can breathe a bit...til next time

Park Day...Six Flags

He loves this ride, can you tell?

Sue is next to me...my hands are up! Brett and Wendy behind us. Brett didn't like this ride too much.

We went to Six Flags yesterday. All in all it was a great day, lots of rides and just fun. Now we go there often and we never have issues, but this time OMG.
Ok they have this NEW policy where on the main big rides you can't bring your backpacks or prizes in the line. Great idea, keeps things from getting stolen or whatever. So they posted lockers at the entrance of each ride. Great...now before if we went on a ride that Cody was not tall enough or he just didn't want to ride he would just wait in line with us then when we got on he would just cross over and wait at the exit. I could see him and know he was safe. Oh no...not this day. So as we went on rides he would either ride or croos over. We got in line for the Titan....awesome rollercoaster. We get all the way to the front and they tell me Cody can't cross over, they made him stay at the other side of the exit. But I had to continue to wait in the for another 45mins. I could not see my child. He did have his phone on him and I did call him several times to check on him. Well we get off the ride and I try to talk to the operator about them making me leave my child, who is 8, alone in a major theme park. They shrug me off and tryed to tell me "that's the rules".
So we continue with our day...we get to Mr. Freeze, which Cody isn't even tall enough to ride. As I get to the ride they tell me that Cody can't even get in line and that I have to leave him at the exit which on the other side of the ride. The wait for this ride is 1 hr...Hell no. I am not leaving him alone for that long. So I don't ride and let the rest go on. Fine I don't get to go.
Next is Batman..again they told me he couldn't ride...and we knew this. He in't tall enough, but he would just cross over and wait. This guy tired to tell me if I didn't put Cody at the exit and he went in line...Cody would have to ride, he can't. Cody started to cry and the guy actually told me to go leave him for an hour while I waited in line. Are these people insane. Anyone can take my child and guess who is blamed...not Six Flags, no me. I was so mad I couldn't let this go...I had the CEO, the ride supervisor you name it I was talking to someone...and get this, we had to pay Adult price for Cody because they don't go by age they go by height. Ok so he is tall enough for adult tickets but not tall enough for the rides. What a racket! Poor boy was terrifed he was going to have to ride this ride...it is scary.
Lets make families leave their kids all alone in a place where there is no way we could find them. HELLO...dumbasses.

We had our soccer team party awhile back and I am just getting around to putting the pics on my computer.
There was this game at Chuckie where you had to hold on to two handles, and it sent 200 plus volts running thru them. The object is not to let go...I made it the whole time...so did Sue.

I have nothin to really jump about...we do have a date to join my sis in the far north. July 15th...we head up there. I so can't wait. Sue's family is coming to visit before we move, so after that we go.
Cody is spending a couple of days with his dad, kinda eh about that.
He is sorta ok with things now so it should be ok.

We had a great week. We finished up our soccer season with a fun time at Chuckie-Cheese. The team had a season of 4 wins, 3 loses, and 3 ties. So proud.
Our weekend is not too full. Sue has to work doubles all weekend so we wont see much of her. Cody and I are going to clean house for the scout rummage sale.

Well we particpated in the Earth Hour. All lights, computer, etc.
We played shadow puppets, cut paper to create designs over the flashlight, and walked outside to see the lack of lights. I was surprised to see how many people knew about this. I called all my friends.
All my electronics are back on, lights are still out. I like candle light...

Not much going on here...We have a game tonight and then this weekend we have two. Cody just signed up to go to NASA in June, right after school gets out. Last scouting event before we move so I know he will make the most of it. I am going to visit my friend at Hobby this Sunday, that is always a good time.

We have just been playing and chillin. We did some horse riding, which I am so not good at. I got scared and had to come home. I just can't control the reins so the horse kinda gets mad.
I have got to do some winter driving...practice. And Cody is just enjoying the vacation. We fly home Saturday so I will catch up with all Sunday...
